Kuruthi Trailer: It’s Gripping, But Can It Keep Up With The Hype?

The trailer of Kuruthi is out now and left us wanting to know more. Starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Roshan Mathew, Srindaa, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Gopy, Mamukkoya, Manikanda Rajan, Naslen, Sagar Surya, and Navas Vallikkunnu, this Onam release is quite exciting. As gripping as the trailer of Kuruthi is, will it keep up with the audience’s expectations? We’ll have to wait till August 11th to know!

Kuruthi is Manu Warrier’s director debut in Malayalam cinema. During the trailer launch, he shared, “I am very excited. We all put our heart and soul into it. Once Prithiviraj Productions came on board, it came with a lot of experience that helped us reach a certain benchmark. I am excited for the world to see it.”

Roshan, who plays Abraham in Kuruthi, shared, “Kuruthi is the most complex film I have played. When I was first told about the characters, I was stunned because it was perfect. Apart from Prthivi, it was my first-time co-acting with the rest of the cast. Till then, I’ve just watched them on-screen, and it was a delight to work with them.

Kuruthi is a revenge story set against the backdrop of a socio-political scenario. Hatred and prejudice in human beings are the main themes of the film.

The fast-paced trailer takes us through the eerie backdrop of Eratupetta in Kerala. Ibrahim, who leads a lonely life in the mountains is trying hard to leave behind bitter memories of the past that still haunt him. An injured cop barges into his house with a prisoner and seeks refuge. An enemy filled with vengeance follows them into the house. Ibrahim is forced to confront testing questions about his own beliefs and convictions. Who is saying the truth?
