At least, I admit that my mind wanders to different places during online classes. But mostly, I end up entering the world of Mollywood. You may or may not know these facts about Mollywood celebrities, but they are hella interesting.

Tovino’s parents gave him a year’s deadline to follow his acting dreams. If he failed, he would have to return to a 9-5 job. That was the deal that changed his life. Can you imagine Tovino working in front of a laptop? Maybe in a movie.

Did you know that Manju Warrier isn’t (technically) a Keralite? She was born in Nagercoil in Tamil and did her schooling at C.S.I Matriculation Higher Secondary School there. Later, her family shifted to Kannur so that she could attend dance classes.

We all know of Jayaram’s love for elephants. But, we bet you didn’t know that he authored a book called Aalkoottathil Oranappokkam, which talks about his aana premam.

Asif Ali’s parents didn’t want him to act. They were adamant about it. Do you know what he did? He hid the fact that he was playing the lead role in Shyamaprasad’s film Ritu from them. When the film hit the theatres, he spilt the beans to his parents.

Rima Kallingal and Aashiq Abu fell in love with each other after discussing socio-political issues. DQ didn’t want to act. Shocked much? Apparently, this guy wanted to take a normal job and settle down after completing his higher education in the US. When life got boring for him, he tried his hand at acting. Destiny clearly had different plans for him.

It was her mother who introduced her to My Dear Kuttichatan (1984) and she was “mind-blown” by it. The Sound of Music (1965) is also another favourite. BTW, Anna Ben loves SRK.

Antony Varghese Pepe, who is a Chemistry graduate, dropped out of his post-graduate course because he wasn’t interested in it. So began assisting films.

Did you know Rajisha studied Mass Communication and Journalism at Amity University in Noida, Delhi?

Shane Nigam made his acting debut at the age of 10. 10!!!! I don’t even remember what I was doing at 10 years of age. Most probably, annoying my parents. Anyway, Shane featured in the TV series called Bullet Bava as a child actor in 2005.
