It’s not every day that you come across a Matrimonial ad that cracks you up. Very recently, Shashi Tharoor tweeted a picture of a bride seeking a vaccinated groom for marriage in a matrimonial ad. It also specified that the groom should have taken two doses of Covidshield to be eligible for marriage. “Is this the new normal?”, Shashi Tharoor asks.

We can all agree that getting vaccinated is of utmost priority everywhere. This bride seeking a vaccinated groom is a prime example of it. Is this what the post-COVID world will look like? Will applications have a new column asking people if they got vaccinated? It’s an interesting point to discuss.
On a serious note, please get vaccinated. Sure, you might have your apprehensions. But, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
