The wait is over for Kerala’s first Vande Bharat Express train as it is set to begin its operation from Thiruvananthapuram. The train will run daily except on Thursdays and will cover 11 districts in Kerala, including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Kannur and Kasargod.
The Vande Bharat train will operate on the Thiruvananthapuram Central-Kasaragod corridor with 914 seats in the chair car and 86 seats in the executive chair car. The Vande Bharat Express is set to launch on April 25, as per the announcement by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The train will run on the Thiruvananthapuram Central-Kasaragod corridor and back as train numbers 20634 and 20633, respectively. It will depart from Kasaragod at 2:30 pm. The train will stop for three minutes at Ernakulam Town and two minutes at other stations.

The tickets for the executive chair car are not available for the next five days.
