A Kerala policeperson died while driving his scooter after he was hit by a speeding private bus at Kuttippuram in Malappuram district.
Officials identified the deceased as Civil Police Officer Biju, who worked at the Kunnamkulam station in Thrissur. When the speeding bus hit his scooter from behind, he was thrown off his bike. The same bus ran over him, killing him on the spot.

Chalakudy native Biju was in Malappuram district to meet his wife, who is a teacher at a school near Kuttipuram. At the time, he was working with the prosecution at the POCSO court in Kunnamkulam. Unfortunately, his life ended too soon due to the rash driving of a bus driver. The victim’s family has been informed of the incident and they will be handed the body soon. Biju’s body is now kept at the mortuary of the Kuttippuram Government Hospital.
Kerala’s private buses have often caused trouble due to their rash driving. Many passengers can even attest to this fact.
