At the very top of this list is none other than the indomitable M A Yusuffali, the driving force behind Lulu Group, who manages an estimate of Rs 55,000 crore. With a fortune of Rs 33,000 crore, his son-in-law, Shamsheer Vayalil, is hot on the trail. Shamsheer, the latest addition to the Hurun rich list, has a diverse portfolio of investments, weaving his magic through Ziva, Keita, RPM, LifePharma, Burjeel Holdings, Lakeshore Hospital, and Educare Institute.

S Gopalakrishnan, co-founder of Infosys, and his famous family took third place with Rs 31,000 crore, closely followed by the ever-dazzling Joy Alukkas in fourth place with Rs 27,600 crore. The indefatigable Sunny Varkey rounds out the top five, with an estimated worth of Rs 26,000 crore.
The combined fortune of these Kerala tycoons has increased by 15% over the previous year, proving their undying commitment to success and prosperity. Yusuffali, Joy Alukkas, T S Kalyanaraman of Kalyan Jewellers, Kochouseph Chittilappilly, the visionary inventor of V-Guard, and V P Nandakumar of Manappuram Finance are among the notable individuals on the Thrissur roster.
