Have you tried exploring Fort Kochi on a cycle? Trust me, it’s one of the best experiences you’ll ever have. MyByk, an online bicycle booking app, is the perfect way to roam around Fort Kochi.

Launched by Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) in 2021, this Public Bike Sharing (PBS) system has allowed travellers to commute within the city, and explore iconic spots along the way. You just have to register yourself on the MyByk app and pick up your bicycle from the docking station. The services start from the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium Metro Station.

It is an affordable way of travelling and it will cost you only INR 199 on a weekly basis and INR 499 on a monthly basis. You can keep the bike with you or dock it at a nearby MyByk hub. In case you need the bike on an hourly basis, you can go for the Pay Per Ride or Pay Per Hour options. It usually ranged from INR 2 to INR 15.

Do note that MyByk takes a security deposit of INR 500, which is refunded to you after your use.

What’s interesting is that Kochi Metro has allowed commuters to carry their bikes in the metro for free. This was decided to increase the usage of cycles across the city.
