The Chai Walah

The Chai Walah is a small tea stall located near Alappuzha Beach. It emanates an irresistible aroma of freshly brewed tea leaves, cardamom, ginger, and secret spices. The stall only opens in the evenings.

This pop-up beverage cart near Alappuzha lighthouse serves 50 varieties of freshly brewed, natural, artisanal tea. You can choose from Cardamom tea, ginger tea or even a soothing herbal brew. The traditional Masala Chai is my personal favourite. To compliment your chai, The Chai Wallah also serves traditional snacks like samosa or pakoras.

This place is not only for buying tea, but also a lively social hub for friends, travellers from all over the world, and universal chai enthusiasts.

Qainaat The Rooftop Café

It’s truly enjoyable to watch the city from above while sipping on your favourite drink or enjoying a meal. Qaintaat, the Rooftop Café, is situated on the 3rd floor of 80’s Clothing in Thiruvampady, Alappuzha. Despite being a cosy food spot in town, many people are still unaware of its existence.

It has both an intimate-cosy atmosphere and an open air dining. The limited space encourages close conversations, making them ideal for romantic dates or quiet catch-ups with friends. Small plates of unique fusion dishes and creative mocktails and artisanal coffees are on the menu.

Qainaat is adorned with twinkling fairy lights, soft plush cushions, and potted plants that provide a touch of greenery, all while soothing songs play in the background.
