Keralites are extremely passionate about football. The football culture in the state is so strong that you’ll even find fan clubs and associations that promote the game strongly. With the 2022 FIFA World Cup nearing, the football fever is up and high in Kerala. Who hasn’t seen the giant cutouts of Neymar, Mesi, and Ronaldo on a river? In light of our love for the game, the Indian captain, Sunil Chhetri, and his friends from Kerala launched a football coaching academy in Kannur.
The recently launched F13 Football Academy at Kadirur, which is eight km from Thalassery in the Kannur district, is mainly focused on training children. The best part about their coaching program is that 66 children from the tribal communities will be able to receive free training. The F13 foundation will take care of all the expenses incurred.
