SIIMA or the South Indian International Movie Awards had recently announced the winners for the year 2019-2020. And living up to our expectations, many of the Mollywood stars dazzled in their red-carpet looks. So, here is our list of Mollywood stars who aced their fashion game.
Shobhana was a personification of grace and elegance on the SIIMA red carpet. She was a delight to watch in her six yards of elegance. Her attire was created by designer Sourav Das who is known for his sustainable fashion attires. Styled by Arjun Vasudev, Shobhana looked stunning in her traditional look. She received the ‘Best Actress ‘ award.
PS- We adore the gorgeous Septum ring complimenting the whole attire.
Needless to say, Prithviraj had quite a great year with his directorial debut Lucifer along with other movies like Ayyappanum Koshiyum and Driving License. He rocked in a dapper suit by designer Chandrika Raamz. Styled by Shravya Varma, Prithvi looked sharp and super stylish. He received the ‘Best Debutant Director’ and ‘Best Actor’ awards at SIIMA.
3. Prarthana Indrajith
We loved how Poornima Indrajith styled Prarthana for her big dreamy award night. She herself aced the fashion race with a chic black suit like a boss lady. We totally loved the look of this mom-daughter duo! Prarthana received the award for ‘Best Playback Singer’ for her song from ‘Helen’. And yellow is definitely a lively fashion choice for a quirky style.
4. Nivin Pauly
When it comes to fashion, we haven’t seen many experiments from this star. But in the recent SIIMA, he took us all by surprise with his new style. He was spotted wearing completely black attire. His funky white shoes with a different hairstyle stole the show, He won the ‘Best Actor (Critics)’ award for his film ‘Moothon’.
5. Saniya Iyyappan
This fashionista didn’t fail to impress us! Her yellow gown designed by Bennu Sehgal complimented her perfectly. Her attire simply stated the urbane fairytale theme of this designer. Being styled by Sanjay Kumar, Saniya literally made a jaw-dropping appearance. She won the ‘Best Supporting Actress award at SIIMA.
6. Kalyani Priyadarshan
We simply can’t get over this shade of prettiness! Wearing an adorable crimson gown from Zwaan, Kalyani made a subtle yet loud style with the super-chic high-slit. Styled by Pallavi Singh, Kalyani received her ‘Best Debutant Actress’ award at SIIMA.
7. Dev Mohan
Remember the handsome Sufi from Sufiyum Sujatayum? Well, he got the ‘Best Debutant Actor’ award this time. And undoubtedly, he looked dashing in a Neeta Lulla ensemble. He chose a shimmery blazer for the award show.
8. Anna Ben
Choosing a deep neck traditional attire in red was a bold yet risky choice. But we definitely approve of this look for the perfectly combined hairstyle and lowkey makeup. The choker is also something that catches one’s attention from her look. Styled by Archana Mehta, Anna looked lovely in this attire from ‘The Little Black Bow’. Anna received the awards for ‘Best Debutant Actress’ and ‘Best Actress(Critics)’.
9. Pearly Maaney
When it comes to making style statements, how can we forget Pearly Maaney? She was seen hosting the show with Govind Padmasoorya wearing this shimmery and shiny gown. We really love the ombre tint on this attire.
10. Kunchako Bobban
Kunchako Boban looked the regular- lively and charismatic in a check-suit with a cute bow-tie to complete the look. He won the ‘Best Actor(critics)’ award at SIIMA for his movie Anjaam Paadira.
