Prem Nazir’s Laila Cottage, the place he called home, is up for sale. Located on Korani Road, close to the Pulimoodu Junction in Chirayinkeezhu town in Trivandrum, this house is the closest you will ever get to witness the beloved actor’s last remains.
The 60-year-old Laila Cottage has attracted the likes of many Mollywood fans from all over the world. Even though the iconic actor passed away 30 years ago, his presence still remains respected by a large community.

Originally, Prem Nazir’s Laila Cottage was under his youngest daughter Rita’s guardianship. She later passed the property on to her daughter. Since the family is settled in the United States, it has become difficult for them to look after this property. Because of this unavoidable circumstance, they have decided to sell it.

Sine Prem Nazir lived his life there, the residents in the area want the Government to buy Laila Cottage and turn it into a memorial. People from all over the world can then come and experience the personal world of Prem Nazir. Even though it looks like an abandoned property from afar, it can be turned into a small experiential destination for tourists if the Government is really interested.
