The Modi-run Government announced the Padma Awards 2021, and we have some great Malayali names in the list. It is considered as one of the highest civilian awards in India. Six well-known personalities from Kerala across different fields, right from music, sports to literature, have made it on the list. We are proud to announce these names. Have a look!

119 awardees have been bestowed with the Padma Awards 2021, namely, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, for their contributions in various fields and disciplines.
There are seven Padma Vibhushan, 10 Padma Bhushan and 102 Padma Shri Awards this year. The President of India will produce these to the awardees at an investiture function which is held at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in the month of March or April. We are unsure if it will happen this year owing to the rising cases of Corona.
