In an unfortunate incident, Sajeev (43), an Assistant Engineer with the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) passed away on Tuesday, June 21, after falling off a treadmill while exercising. He was working out at a gym in Vilangannur when the accident occurred.
He suffered fatal injuries to his head after falling backwards from the treadmill, according to Asianet News. Though he was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
The exact cause of death has not been declared yet, as a post-mortem was being conducted.
Sajeev hails from the town of Mala in Thrissur. He is survived by his wife and two children.
