It’s Official: Wonder Woman 1984 To Release On Prime

Some of you were lucky enough to watch Wonder Woman 1984 on the big screen during Christmas last year. However, for those who haven’t had the chance to watch the Wonder Woman sequel, there’s good news. Mark your calendar; Wonder Woman 1984 is all set to release on Amazon Prime on May 15th. Do note that the title is the ninth installment in the DC Extended Universe. The film will be available to Indian audiences in four languages – English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

WW84 is set 60 years after the events of the first film. It is directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Geoff Johns, Dave Callaham, and Jenkins. Here, Wonder Woman joins hand with the love of her life, Steve Trevor, as they fight against Max Lord and Barbara Minerva. WW84 is set against the backdrop of the 1984 Cold War.

The movie received mixed reviews at the time of release. While some loved the movie for Max Lord’s intense performance, others were filled with joyous emotions after watching Wonder Woman on-screen after years. If not for the plot, you should definitely check out the WW84 for Hans Zimmer’s score and the killer VFX work.
