Kerala is known for its mesmerising locations, but one of the most iconic spots is the Idukki dam. When the gates open and the water gushes through them, it is always a sight to behold. The majestic Idukki dam in Kerala recently became an iconic moment in the state’s history for projecting India’s flag onto its cascading waters.

Roshy Augustine, Water Resources Minister of Kerala, took to Facebook and shared a picture of the Indian flag on Idukki Dam. It was the initiation of the Hydel Tourism Department that made this moment possible. Take a look.
