If you’re reading this, the universe is telling you to pack your bags and head over to Munnar. Before you crib about the hassle of making travel plans, listen up. The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will soon start Munnar Tour packages just for you. Yes, you heard that right.

Here’s what the 2-day Munnar tour package will entail:
The first trip will begin from Malappuram depot. Every Saturday at 1 pm, a KSRTC bus will take you to Munnar, and you will reach this beautiful destination by 7:30 pm. Passengers have the option to take a rest on the sleeper couch on the bus at night. On Sunday, the travellers will be taken around to visit iconic places in Munnar such as Anakulam and Mankulam. By 6 pm, the bus will drop you back at the Malappuram depot.

The price of this package is yet to be determined.
The aim of this initiative is to drive tourism in the State. Apparently, people from Malappuram often visit Munnar, and that’s why the plan to start this package in the district came about. If the pilot initiative proves to be successful, other districts might adopt it.
