8 Malayalis Share Their 1st Proposal Stories From The Pre-WhatsApp Era

Back when WhatsApp wasn’t a buzzword, people talked to each other using ‘dabba’ phones (if they could afford one) and text each other after recharging with cheap SMS plans. Be it asking a friend to be the mailman in the classroom or sliding notes into textbooks, we knew it all.

Hats off to all the boys and girls who went on to propose their love to their crushes. We asked a few Malayalis to share their first proposal story and boy, you’re in for a bout of laughter.
