Sex is very complicated, at least for a person who has no clue about it. Since we live in a country like India, sex education is not taken seriously. All elders, including our parents, assumed that children would understand the concept of sex eventually. Yet, they had problems when they caught us watching porn, ironically. 90 percent of us relied on the internet and BFFs for sex education. And we were never really exposed to a lot of things that come with sex like contraception, consent, after-care, sexuality, etc. As we grew up, exposure to online content helped us gain knowledge about the same. So here’s us listing down things we wish someone told us about sex early on.
For those reading this article, if you come across new revelations, we urge you to take the effort to research about it from valid sources. Sex education isn’t to be visualised as shameful or awkward. It will only help you grow, get better in bed and in life.
