Schools may have been our second homes, but it rarely gave us the opportunity to learn about life beyond textbooks. Despite Kerala being the only state in the country with a stunning literacy rate, it did not nurture its students to become better human beings or teach them a thing or two about the real world. Having said that, we all cherish our school memories as ones that we would always go back to, but it is also important to recognise what our schools lacked. Here’s what we think our schools should have done differently.
